Walking through Sakura’s door is like stepping into a little corner of downtown Tokyo. In a dining room overlooking a beautifully designed Japanese garden, diners cook their own delicacies in a pot placed in front of them at the table and enjoy a choice of three set menus offering authentic Japanese dishes including shabu shabu, sukiyaki and seafood nabe. These involve a choice of either seafood or beef with vegetables in the central cooking pot, dipping them in various sauces. Specially commissioned hand-made models of the menu are displayed outside the restaurant to help diners make their selection. |
