The story of fashion over the last 400 years is brought alive at the Museum of Costume, the finest museum of fashionable dress in the world. The special exhibition for 2004 is ěJane Austen: Film and Fashionî, costume from film productions alongside real examples of 19th century dress. Your ticket also includes more than 150 dressed figures illustrating the changing styles in fashionable clothes for men and women from the late 16th century to the present day. Every garment is original, drawn from the Museumís outstanding collection of more than 30,000 items. Personal audioguides in seven languages are included free of charge. |
