The Museum shows how Americans lived from the early settlers to the civil war. Exhibits include an 18th century tavern, and a room of Shaker furniture. Permanent display of 40 quilts. 2004 special exhibition compares Welsh and American quilts. Special Christmas displays and bazaar from mid November to mid December. There are extensive gardens including a play area for young children. Light lunches and teas are available. |
